What do you think about the movie Annabelle comes home?
I entered the biggest spoiler in history when I went to see this movie. So it was a morning show at 11.15. We entered the theater at 11.05 in the morning and there are already many screams.
We are still entering and we cannot see the screen. I ask one of the attendees if the movie has started. He said no.
Then we find our seats and absolute chaos is developing on the screen.
There are a lot of children running scared. And then a girl says “usney mujhe werewolf bachaya” (saved me from a werewolf).
And I am horrified!
“Is this Hindi ?! Shit, did I book a Hindi show? !!!!” I gasp in horror.
Then I take my phone to check the ticket.
I booked a show in English well.
“I think we have entered the previous Hindi show!”
I hurry and ask one of the movie theater attendees if the previous program was still running.
He says “yes.”
What the hell!!!
We went out.
And then I’m laughing. We just saw the climax of the damn movie!
Anyway, we see the correct program again. As for how the movie was, well, I thought it was a pretty movie. And that probably isn’t a good thing, because horror movies aren’t supposed to be cute. They are supposed to be creepy, scary, creepy. Its not cute.
The film successfully makes you feel fear, you feel anxious about what will happen next. But then nothing really happens.
Some people might think that this is the merit of the film, which manages to create an environment of fear.
As for the plot, it is quite simple: children trapped in a house with a demon doll. Will they survive the test?
There were some really smart moments in the movie, and try your best to avoid the usual cliché jump scares.
All actors carry their parts well, so there are no complaints there. It’s just that, the movie is not scary enough.
For me it was a cheesy movie and the passage of time. Young adults would enjoy it better. But if you have really high standards for horror, Annabelle could meet your expectations.
It hasn’t been released yet, so I can outline the expectations I have with the movie.
Starting with Annabelle’s films in general, the spin-off father of Conjuring, Annabelle (2014) was a disappointment for horror fans. The film was based freely on real events and told the story of the Annabelle doll before the Warren bought it.
Annabelle: Creation of an Annabelle prequel intended to mention the story of the creation of the Annabelle doll. Although widely applauded, I did not like the movie as such. Although I would say it was a decent clock.
Coming to Annabelle Comes Home. First of all, I am excited about the fact that my favorite Warren are emerging in this. I love Patrick and Vera as the Warren and their simple presence in the film has raised the expectations of this film. Second, the story would resume right where it was left in The Conjuring. It would be interesting to see how the Warren tackle the evil force that is trapped in this doll. With James Wan not as director, it’s hard for me to expect a masterpiece, but I still have high hopes!
Hopefully Vera and Patrick can bring their on-screen charisma to the movie and this movie doesn’t turn out to be mediocre like its predecessors.
Absolute disappointment. There were several moments when the suspense was remarkable, and I curled up in fear of what was going to happen next. Note that I said several because there were probably 4 times at most during the whole movie.
There are no real bets in this movie. On the other hand, he does not have Ed and Lorraine who disappointed many people, they only appear at the beginning and the end of the film, but the three girls on which the story focuses do a great acting job. Returning to the bets in all other films, evil has some motivation, but in this it seems that there is no motivation. Annabelle is torturing them for torturing them, which becomes boring because you feel there is no real danger.
Towards the end of the movie we discover that Annabelle wants a soul, which is technically a motivation, but her delivery is weak, and yet you never feel that Annabelle wants a soul, you just feel she wants to be an idiot. Also, if you believe in ghosts and spirits and what not, this movie would be full of scientific fiction instead of real paranormal things.
Annabelle also launches or imitates all things in the museum. One of which is a hellhound, and it feels like a Goosebumps movie for a while when a werewolf of fog attacks a child who runs into his backyard and gets into the chicken coop instead of running home . Then, for some reason, the boy returns to the front yard just in time to crush the fog wolf with his guitar to save a girl, but then he materializes again, and the girls run to the house, but he again runs towards the backyard
Someone is also possessed and they are exorcised through Warren’s daughter who plays a video of her father’s projector doing an exorcism.
Movies based on supposed events that happened to the Warren are masterpieces. Annabelle Creation (I think it’s fictional fiction) was great, but the Nun and Annabelle return home are disappointing despite having a great performance, good ideas and even several scary moments that just don’t hit the spot. They are not really scary or suspenseful.
Annabelle comes home is the third installment of the Annabelle series and the seventh installment in the conjuring universe. Critics rated it as an average film of the conjuring universe. The movie has a good box office collection. He collected around 220 million dollars around a budget of 32 million. The current imdb rating is 6.2. Rotten tomatoes gave a 66% rating and the bookmyshow rating is 63%. The movie follows the usual methods of a horror movie. Lights off, silence, jumps, etc., also there. But the manufacturing is good, so it doesn’t affect the appreciation. For a detailed description, read Annabelle comes home: worth a look: a general description
Good movie … I liked it
And the best of the Annabelle series. This movie had appropriate elements such as fear, fun, etc. In the right places. The concept is simple and clear.
The Warrens bring the Annabelle doll from a victim’s house and lock it in the artifact room of their house after the blessing of a priest. Some years later, a girl unlocks the doll in Warren’s absence and then the events begin. The Warren were not at home during all events. Everything was treated by Warren’s daughter and her babysitter.
Good points about the movie:
Good start and end
The humor is also there, but it never interferes with fear.
The horror elements were seen enough times
Some silly things, like the keys in the artifact room, remained completely unsafe.
The Annabelle series has had some of the best jumping scares in the Conjuring Universe and Annabelle Comes Home continues that streak. These moments are well prepared by debuting director Gary Dauberman, ensuring that the audience is involved at all times. Light and sound effects are also used properly to create a desired emotion within the viewer.
This movie is good but does not touch the level of conjuring 2.
You can watch this movie on a night plan with friends, but they can’t scare you with fear. The “A” certificate granted to these films does not justify.
But you can also watch these movies if you haven’t watched conjured series because it’s an independent movie
Very attractive movie. The film perfectly justifies Annabelle’s title comes home. She really shows her strong presence in the house. Read more in the following link
I have already seen this movie because it is a new movie. You may see it online because it now plays in the cinema. so I’ll tell you when I saw it, but I can’t promise you when. so if you like the answer instead of questions, be so kind of waiting. But maybe someone else will answer your question. I’m sorry I can not help you. you have a good day
Were the paranormal cases that Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated real?
Thanks for your question! I will tell you what I found after many years of research on Warren.
First, many of the “ghosts” were then admired for being deceived by the responsible people. Fame and money were the reason.
The Warren knew how to take a situation and make it about them. They manipulated the people and scared them to fulfill a word: Demon.
All cases that the Warren handled ended up being caused by some form of demon. Demons easily take over people and things, according to the Warren. Demons are everywhere, possessing people or toys anyway, with the sole purpose of destroying lives and having fun. (I agree, but I call them teenagers)
The latest hits in the horror movie are the Annabelle saga, based on the haunted and hungry Ann doll that terrified people. If you read the story, I dare you not to laugh! I hate the fact that these horrible people benefit from the pain and intense fear of their victims (even more for the Warren!)
The Warren opened a museum full of the “possessed” objects that the Warren removed from the haunted places, objects containing some evil entity, and for only $ 169.00, you can spend a night in the presence of the REAL Annabelle, the possessed doll. This is the information form, including Warren’s “resignation of possession.”
Form a night with Annabelle
Shame on this scum. May they preach religion, stirring the Bible and let the name drop the Pope as if the Catholic church were supporting his game, my blood boils.
These people and their continuous group of slime feeders should be exposed to what they are. They take advantage of the vulnerable, exploit their fear and pain, and leave with money and fame, leaving their victims with many questions and a complete disaster of their lives.
Fans of The Conjuring Universe know that all praise for their realistic representation of the demon that torments a family, is not only due to the wild imagination of director James Wan, but that the film was based on a real-life story .
Conjuring basically showed what Ed and Lorraine Warren, the ghost hunters / real-life paranormal investigators, witnessed during their journey. His story is much scarier than the movie.
The 92 years Lorraine Warren, whose role was portrayed by actress Vera Farmiga in Conjuring, is dead. “She died peacefully in her sleep at home,” Warren’s son-in-law Tony Spera said on Facebook, reports .
In 1952, Lorraine Warren and her husband Ed founded the Psychological Research Society of New England, a ghost hunting group in New England. Two of his most famous cases were represented in the Hollywood industry through the Conjuring franchise. Ed passed away in 2006.
The conjuration was based on the events that occurred with the Perron family that moved to a farm in Harrisville, Rhode Island. The couple and their five daughters soon began to notice strange things happening at home and that was when they asked for Ed and Lorraine’s help.
